Reading Through the Bible in 2017

It’s the second day of 2017. This is often a time of year where people commit to reading the Scriptures in a more systematic way.

Today I’m starting a read-through-the-Bible-in-a-year plan. Here’s the plan I’m using – 2017 Five Day Bible Reading Schedule. The schedule is free and available on a print-out PDF. For some reasons to use this plan, here’s a great explanation written by Melissa Kruger: “My Favorite Bible In A Year Reading Plan.” If you don’t have a Bible reading plan for 2017, consider this one. You can start today!

Of course, there are lots of other plans out there. For 2016, Justin Taylor posted a great resource – Reading the Bible in 2016: A FAQ. Most of the material is still usable; what needs to be updated for 2017 should be pretty easy to update.

Whatever approach you take, I know that we all can grow in our time in the Scriptures in 2017.
